Teen Advisory Board

TAB is a volunteer group of 6th - 12th graders working together to make the library a better place for teens.

TAB meets the third Thursday of the month at 4:00 pm unless otherwise noted. Meetings last approximately one hour.

Guidelines

TAB is open to any 6th-12th grader!
No application necessary—just contact Dottie, the Teen Librarian, to become an official member of TAB!
Members ages 14+ may count TAB work as part of their volunteer hours—make sure to talk to Dottie, the Teen Librarian

Tasks

Suggest Teen programs and events.
Suggest materials to add to the library’s Teen collection.
Plan and lead Teen programs and events throughout the year.
Provide input on library decisions that affect teens.
Volunteer to help with library-sponsored events.

Meetings

Attendance is not mandatory, but members are encouraged to attend as many meetings and events as they can!
