The Library community is full of avid readers and donors as well! A team of dedicated Friends of the Brentwood Library members sort through thousands of books during the year to categorize and determine whether the books will be sold online or in the quarterly used books sales, the proceeds of which fund many Library programming needs. Items are accepted on the marked donation cart adjacent to the Meeting Room doors on the outside of the building.
A gift made in one's name is always a meaningful way to mark a special occasion, or to remember or honor a beloved family member, respected friend, or colleague. When you make a memorial or honor gift to the Library, we'll select a title to add to our collection and send your honoree or their family a handsome card acknowledging your generosity.
The Library also accepts certain donations of rare books and materials that are about Brentwood for the local history collection.
