The Library will be closed on April 3rd and 5th. We will be open on April 4th and will reopen during normal hours on April 6th.
Library cards are free for residents, 5 years and older, of the city of Brentwood. Please know, some Brentwood addresses lie outside the city limits.
Our library is funded by the City of Brentwood property taxes. Those outside the official city limits (including some Brentwood addresses) may purchase an annual membership:
Family members may be added to the library card. Additional cards may be purchased for family members whom wish to have their own account. Please register online for a Library card and stop by the Circulation Desk.
ACCEPTED PROOF OF ADDRESS: Must show the name of the one signing up.
A free card may be issued to those operating a business inside the city of Brentwood limits. If multiple businesses are owned, a card may be provided for each business. Additional family members may be added to this card.
You must provide government-issued photo I.D. and accepted proof of business ownership:
A free card may be issued to educators who are employed at a school in Williamson County. No other family members may be added to this card.
You must provide:
A free card may be issued to volunteers after they have completed their first 15 hours of service work. No additional family members may be added to this card. To maintain library card privileges, volunteers must meet the annual requirement of at least 60 service hours.
You must provide a government-issued photo ID and confirmation from the Volunteer Coordinator of the hours performed. Young volunteers without a government-issued photo ID should bring a parent/legal guardian with a photo ID along with confirmation of hours.
